Aunt Tui is a quaint old cottage on Ferry road in the middle of Tuatapere. It is the original blacksmith's property on the road to the old ferry crossing which was the only way to cross the mighty Waiau in the early days of settlement. The old smithy workshop still stands on site and is used as a storage shed 100 years after it was built from timber milled from its immediate surrounds.

The accommodation is the entire cottage and has many options for larger groups and families with its 3-4 bedrooms two lounges, a large dining table and an outdoor deck set in secluded lush gardens.

It is an eclectic building with many add-ons and is full of an eclectic collection of collectables and quality original artworks of the owners.  A great space to be inspired or to just chill out in funky surroundings with a drink or two.
